IFA Independent Financial Adviser
A finance professional who can offer independent financial advice to their clients and can recommend suitable investments.

To put in/provide time, money or other resources in order to receive a return of some sort in the future e.g. interest, rent, dividend or a social return. A social investment is money invested into a social enterprise.

Institutional Investor
A company pension fund or other institution that is investing money on behalf of the members of an organization e.g. investing the money paid in by employees into a pension fund.

IRR Internal Rate of Return
It is the measure of how much return there is going to be on an investment and how quickly the money will be repaid e.g. the quantity and speed of the return.
