Gender-lens
To provide solutions to gendered challenges, a focus on a certain group is needed. For example, the WISH (Women in Safe Homes) Fund is a gender-lens property fund, receiving input from specialist women's sector organisations to take a trauma-informed approach to tackling homelessness, a problem which men and women both face and yet experience differently. A gender-lens approach also incorporates gender analysis – through its key impact measures - alongside its financial analysis and decision-making and plays an important role in influencing more mainstream investors.
