Scaling impact and building resilience for the voluntary, community & social enterprise sector

Our team has an ongoing programme with the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, delivering capacity building to a cohort of Esmée Fairbairn Foundation grantees, delivered via one-on-one workshops with each organisation.

These 'Funding Plus' workshops provide a number of practical tools to help identify organisations’ key actions, from aligning impact measures to mission, key opportunities and risks to forecasts and operational process to strategy. Having created an online version during the pandemic we continue to deliver face to face or remotely.

Shemain Wahab, Impact Support Manager at the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, said: “Our partnership with Resonance to deliver the workshops started in 2018 as a new approach to help funded organisations assess their impact, business model and financial resilience and explore growth opportunities in a planned and managed way.

“The team has travelled the length and breadth of the UK to deliver the workshops, supporting over 40 Esmée funded organisations at their place of work or venue. Workshop feedback has been overwhelmingly positive highlighting the value of getting operating staff, SMT and trustees together for a facilitated discussion focused on a specific lens.”
