Resonance

Martin heads up the Strengthening Impact team, using his broad business and consultancy skills to support the impact-focused advisory work with client organizations.  As well as working closely with investees and other clients to strengthen their operations, he leads on development projects that bring new ideas and approaches to the social investment sector.

Qualified initially as an engineer, and then more generally in business, Martin has worked in both the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds doing acquisition, strategy and organizational development work. He has practical experience of start-up, operations and governance experience with social enterprises operating in the UK and overseas.  He currently serves as chair for an ethical cleaning company, as well as trustee for a couple of UK charities.

Outside work Martin is involved in a number of community initiatives, enjoys the local fells, as well as time with family and friends.
