We are overjoyed that Investment Manager Grace England has been recognised by the WISE 100, as one of the leading women in social enterprise and impact investing 2018. In fact, she has been selected as one of the 12 “Spotlight” nominations.
The NatWest WISE 100 (Women in Social Finance 100) is produced annually by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest Bank and recognises the most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise, impact investment and mission-driven business.
Grace was recognised for her work within impact investing, particularly her involvement in the development and launch of our innovative SITR Funds, in Bristol and the West Midlands, and was selected from hundreds of nominations received from the public this year. The judging panel included Megan Peat, CEO, RBS Social & Community Capital and June O’Sullivan MBE, CEO of London Early Years Foundation.
At Resonance Grace manages Resonance’s West Midlands SITR (Social Investment Tax Relief) Fund, as well as leading the development of Resonance’s new SITR funds across the UK. She supports both individuals and the advisor community to explore how they can make investments that are aligned with the social issues that they or their clients are passionate about tackling, as well as building Resonance’s pipeline of investments into social enterprises tackling poverty in the West Midlands.
Grace commented, “What an honour it is to be acknowledged alongside so many inspiring women in a sector it is such a privilege to be part of. My thanks go to both WISE 100 and those that nominated me.”
