About Greenwood Music
Founded in 2015, Greenwood Music is a social enterprise that uses its 40-acre ancient woodland in Cornwall to improve people's wellbeing through nature-based experiences. Working with community groups, the organisation supports people experiencing poor mental health, loneliness, isolation and other complex needs through programmes that combine mindfulness, music, outdoor learning and conservation. Activities include yoga, woodland skills, camping, wood carving and music workshops, helping participants build confidence while connecting with nature.
Our Investment
Resonance invested £10,000 through the Health & Wellbeing Challenge Fund to enable Greenwood Music to dedicate more staff time to developing partnerships with local organisations and expanding access to its wellbeing programmes. The investment helped strengthen the organisation's ability to reach more people who could benefit from nature-based support.
Our Impact
The investment has helped Greenwood Music grow its network of community partnerships, enabling more people experiencing mental ill health, loneliness and social isolation to access its Wellbeing in Nature programmes. By combining social prescribing with outdoor learning and conservation, the organisation is helping participants improve their wellbeing, build resilience and develop a stronger connection with both their local community and the natural environment.
