ABOUT: Good Boost is a social enterprise that develops digital technology to deliver affordable and accessible therapeutic exercise programmes for musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Its rehabilitation programmes on land and in water are designed to be beneficial and fun for people with a wide range of MSK conditions including arthritis and back pain. Good Boost wants everyone to love looking after their musculoskeletal wellbeing by moving more, having fun and feeling better.
PURPOSE OF INVESTMENT: This investment from the Health and Wellbeing Challenge Fund will enable Good Boost to continue to deliver their specialist tablets to public pools for swimming pool-based rehabilitation and hydrotherapy. These individually tailored exercise sessions are powered by award-winning artificial intelligence, and are designed for swimmers of all levels and non-swimmers too. The investment will also help further develop the apps ‘AquaMove’ and ‘Good Boost Land’, allowing people in water or at home to reduce pain and increase mobility.
