Golden Lane Housing is one of the UK's leading supported housing providers for people with a learning disability or autism. Working alongside more than 150 support providers, they help people find safe, suitable homes that meet their individual needs, enabling them to live independently and remain connected to their local communities.
Our partnership
In 2023, Golden Lane Housing partnered with Resonance through the Resonance Supported Homes Fund to help address the shortage of specialist supported housing. Together, the fund purchased and refurbished nine homes, most of them in Oxfordshire, creating a mix of shared homes and self-contained flats. Each property was tailored to the needs of the people living there and selected with access to local amenities, transport links and support networks in mind.
Impact
Together, Resonance and Golden Lane Housing have helped increase the supply of high-quality supported housing for people with a learning disability and autistic people at a time when demand for specialist housing continues to outstrip supply. Through social investment, more people have been able to move into safe, secure homes designed around their individual needs.
More than providing housing, the partnership has helped create the foundations for people to build fulfilling lives, remain connected to their communities and access the support they need to thrive.
