About Devon Clinic CIC
The Devon Clinic is a social enterprise providing affordable talking and physical therapies to support people's mental and physical wellbeing. Working with a network of specialist practitioners, the clinic offers a holistic approach to healthcare while making therapy more accessible to people who might otherwise be unable to afford it.
Our Investment
Resonance invested £60,000 through the Health & Wellbeing Challenge Fund to support the refurbishment of the clinic, improve its marketing, and expand its capacity by attracting more therapists. The investment also gave the organisation the time and resources to strengthen its operations and continue growing its social impact.
Our Impact
The investment enabled Devon Clinic to expand the range and availability of affordable complementary therapies, helping more people access support for their mental and physical wellbeing. By increasing practitioner capacity and strengthening the organisation's long-term sustainability, the investment has helped the clinic reach more people while continuing to work alongside community wellbeing initiatives across Devon.

Chris Fleet, Founder and Hypnotherapist at The Devon Clinic: “As a social enterprise, we were at a crossroads and for a variety of reasons we couldn't really grow. It was whilst on a School for Social Entrepreneurs training course that we heard about social investment. Resonance was great, and our main contact, Tom, was very approachable and kept in regular contact with us during the process. The investment from Resonance has helped us to offer a greater value to the community and will have a big impact on the Clinic.”
Tom Crook, Senior Investment Manager at Resonance: “Chris and the team’s main focus is helping people, which has been absolutely apparent throughout the investment process. I’m excited that the hard work that has gone into growing The Devon Clinic puts them in a really strong position to capture the impact being delivered from complementary therapy. This will help them to tell their story and highlight the benefits complementary therapies could offer other stakeholders such as the NHS.”
