Only then do we discuss how investment could help you accelerate your growth.

Our approach to working with ambitious, high-impact, growing social enterprises recognizes that often in parallel with capital raising, many enterprises also need professional advice around governance, impact and process. Our aim is to invest and strengthen the social enterprises we work with. Therefore, we offer both Capital Raising and Capacity Building services.


As any business grows, it evolves and needs support to build capacity around its core product delivery. We are highly experienced at implementing capacity development projects. Here’s examples of how we can help:

Impact Management
Being able to explain the impact of your social enterprise is vital to attract and retain stakeholders. We support by helping you articulate your narrative, design the measures that evidence the change, implement system and communicate.  All to enable the board and executive team to more effectively make good decisions when managing impact

Leadership & Governance
We can support the development of governance frameworks, identify communication channels and reporting needs, define skill gaps and explain best practise. This can even include helping you build and develop a strong leadership team.

Management Reporting
We work with many of our social enterprises to develop reporting tools, from monthly packs through to Annual Reports. This not only helps you make the right decisions for your enterprise, it is also useful for Funders that often require management information to give them both assurance about what is happening within the social enterprise in which they have invested.  

Healthchecks & Diagnostics
Supporting you from an independent viewpoint to help you keep on track with your mission, is a service that we frequently get asked to carry out across a wide range of social enterprises. In addition, sometimes a Funder will commission us to create groups of investees that can be reviewed and work together to learn, share and cooperate as a peer group, so you can benefit from shared learning.

Using our networks and experience we can write and research bespoke studies that can be learning opportunities, data sources, best-practise sharing or reporting on specific subjects.  We can deliver such studies as well as create workshops, scope research programmess, publish results and follow-up with monitoring and implementation plans.
