WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET INVESTMENT FROM THIS FUND
In an effort to support charities and social enterprises to secure investment for energy resilience and the transition to Net Zero, Social Investment Business launched the Energy Resilience Fund in 2024 in collaboration with Big Issue Invest, Charity Bank, Co-operative and Community Finance, GMCVO, Groundwork UK, Key Fund, Resonance, The Architectural Heritage Fund and The Ubele Initiative.
The fund can be used to support a variety of energy-efficient initiatives to lower carbon emissions, save energy costs, improve energy-efficiency ratings to comply with future regulations, improve building comfort or use, and more.
Energy-efficient measures can include:
- Energy-efficient lighting systems
- Insulation upgrades
- Glazing upgrades
- Small scale wind turbines
- Solar PV panel systems, battery storage systems
- Solar water heating systems
- Heat pumps and electric vehicles
Eligible organisations can apply for blended funding of between £25,000 and £250,000. Organisations can find out if they are eligible to apply here.
