Simon is Chief Investment Officer of Resonance. He leads Resonance’s activities in creating and managing social impact investment funds. These funds share a common aim of connecting capital with social enterprise and delivering good financial returns and measurable social impact to their investors. Fund initiatives range from award winning homelessness property funds now exceeding £290m, to a series of regional growth capital funds for social enterprise utilising Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR).
Simon has 28 years of investment experience, and was previously at Rothschild & Co where he focused on advising on energy and infrastructure projects across Europe and Asia. In 2012 he joined Resonance to establish and grow its impact investment fund activities. He has first-hand experience of social enterprise having served as a Trustee for a pioneering London-based homelessness charity.
