Karen joined the communications team in June 2019, managing the strategic planning, development and implementation of marketing and communications across the business with particular focus on our Impact Property, Growing Enterprises and Developing Communities funds. Karen has over twenty-five years' marketing experience gained across industry sectors including charity, publishing, education and finance.

Karen is also a proud trustee for two Cornish charities: The Women's Centre Cornwall, which provides specialist support services for women and girls in the county who have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence; and The 2 Minute Foundation - devoted to cleaning up our planet 2 minutes at a time by inspiring and empowering individuals, businesses and communities to make simple changes and contribute towards the planet's wellbeing.

Outside of work Karen has a real passion for the environment and being outdoors with her family; heading to the beach for a spot of beach cleaning, sea-swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. She also loves heading out on road trips in her VW camper, and hitting the dance floor at gigs and festivals!
