Resonance

Jessica is the Chief Executive of Emmaus Bristol, a charity which helps people out of homelessness through the provision of a home, support and work experience.

Having been in post since 2016, she has seen the growth in homelessness through the loss of a private rental tenancy, and the increasing difficulty people have in moving on from homelessness due to a lack of affordable housing. This is her motivation for joining the investment committee.

She is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Prior to Emmaus, Jessica was the Chief Executive of a city farm and is passionate about community resources and access to green space.

Jessica has worked in environmental sustainability in one form or another for 20 years with a particular focus on enabling people to reduce their environmental impact while living happy, healthy lives.

In her spare time she runs, reads, and attempts to grow fruit and veg on her allotment.
