Resonance

Grace works as Senior Investment Manager in our Growing Enterprises team. She is currently co-leading the development and launch of Resonance’s latest Enterprise Growth Fund, which has been designed to make social investment opportunities more accessible for social enterprises whilst utilising the Community Investment Tax Relief (CITR) scheme. Grace’s role involves fund design, fund structuring, development of investment pipeline and investor fundraising. The Resonance Enterprise Investment fund is due for launch in Spring/Summer 2023. 

Grace also oversees the ongoing management of the Resonance West Midlands SITR Fund portfolio, which she built up in her role as Fund Manager after launching this fund back in 2018. The Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) scheme was sadly ended by Government in March 2023, meaning the Resonance SITR Fund is now fully deployed and closed to new investments. 

Grace is passionate about using values driven business models to bring about social change and to create sustainable opportunities for disadvantaged communities. As such, Grace has always worked in the social enterprise and investment sector since graduating in 2011. Her experience ranges from conducting research into the challenges and opportunities matching angel investors with social enterprises at UnLtd, to analysing social investment capital flows in developing countries with the Overseas Development Institute.

Outside of work Grace is a bookworm, loves learning how to make things on the sewing machine and is obsessed with all things retro and vintage – from G Plan furniture to 70s patterned shirts (anything orange and brown). Grace also enjoys exploring alternative economic thinking and is a particular fan of Ha-Joon Chang, Kate Raworth, Michael Sandel, and John Maynard Keynes.
