Resonance

Danyal Sattar is Interim Head of Impact Labs at Resonance. Prior to this, he was as Chief Executive Officer of The Big Issue Invest. He brings with him a wealth of experience in providing finance and support to social sector organisations.

Prior to his role at The Big Issue Invest, Danyal served as Head of Social Investment with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. Previous roles included at Access Foundation for Social Investment, Better Society Capital, Charity Bank and Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. This followed earlier work with Brussels based network INIASE, in the start-up of UK Sustainable Investment Forum, Aston Reinvestment Trust, a community-based lender, and the think tank, New Economics Foundation.

He holds a BA, MSc, MA and IMC from CFA UK. He was appointed an OBE in 2024 for services to social investment and business.  Outside of work, he is a Trustee of the School of Tai Chi Chuan London, where he studies, practices and teaches.
