Barry joined Resonance early in 2019 and works in the IT department supporting our growing team across the UK.
He has been a tech-geek since the late-1980’s and has been a fan of Apple Macs since starting his first degree in the mid-1990’s, BSc Computing and Multimedia. He has previously worked as a web designer, an IT lecturer, and as practice manager at a podiatry clinic.
Barry is the owner/director of a small business in the health and wellbeing sector which he established in 2006, which aims to promote wellbeing by giving people self-help tools such as yoga and deep relaxation practices. He has worked with social/education partners and charities/CICs as well as members of the public, offering training courses and weekly yoga and relaxation classes. Barry holds an MA in Indian Religions, a C&G post-16 teaching qualification, and is a yoga teacher training tutor specialising in deep relaxation practice and Indian philosophy.
Barry is a trustee of the charity HarmonicaUK, where he edits their bi-monthly magazine and provides IT advice and support. He plays harmonica and melodeon with the Wreckers band based in the Tamar valley, and drives a 1996 almond green Mini Cooper.
