INTRODUCTION

Applicants to the Social Enterprise Support Fund are being processed by one of five independent organisations (UnLtd, Key Fund, SSE, Community Land & Finance CIC, Big Issue Invest, who together form the consortium). If you have been informed that your application is being or has been processed by Community Land & Finance CIC (wholly owned by Resonance Ltd), you should read the following carefully.

Resonance Ltd and Community Land & Finance CIC are acting as Joint Data Controller with the other members of the consortium in the delivery of the Social Enterprise Support Fund. The National Lottery Community Fund are also independently acting as a Data Controller in respect of Social Enterprise Support Fund. 

Community Land & Finance CIC has appointed its owner, Resonance Ltd, to be the Data Processor of the Social Enterprise Support Fund. Data Processing is being completed in order to comply with Community Land & Finance CIC’s legal, contractual, and moral requirements to properly handle, manage, process and monitor grant applications and to allow for the distribution of grants. 

Resonance Ltd and Community Land & Finance CIC are acting as Joint Data Controller with The National Lottery Community Fund in the delivery of the Social Enterprise Support Fund. All data will be handled in compliance with Resonance Ltd’s legal, contractual and moral requirements to properly handle, manage, process and monitor grant applications and to allow for the distribution of grants.

Grant applicants are therefore referred to the Resonance Ltd Privacy Policy for the Social Enterprise Support Fund for information on how their data will be treated.

Resonance will only hold your personal information if you have provided this to us, either in person, at an event, over the telephone, through our website, through the SESF website in writing (including email / messaging / social media) or by entering into a contract with us.

We do not buy mailing lists.

USE OF OUR WEBSITE

In general, you can use our website without giving us any personal information. Any IP address or domain name information that we collect is not used to personally identify you but is instead aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent and pages viewed, to improve the content and function of our website.

However, additional services may be available if we have certain information about you, such as; a list of the products and services you express an interest in when you use the website; your name and contact information, including email address and company details which you may submit to us when you interact with us through the website.

SECURITY

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal information we hold. Access to personal data shall be limited to personnel who need access and appropriate security shall be in place to avoid unauthorised sharing of information. When personal and sensitive data is deleted this shall be done safely such that the data is irrecoverable.

DATA RETENTION

• For the Social Enterprise Support Fund, all personal and sensitive data about unsuccessful applicants shall be held until 30 June 2021 unless there is either an existing relationship with Resonance, an ongoing complaint, or the funders (The National Lottery Community Fund) require that the data is retained for longer for their monitoring purposes.
• For the Social Enterprise Support Fund, all personal and sensitive data about successful applicants shall be held no later than 30 June 2027 unless there is either an additional relationship with Resonance, an ongoing complaint, or the funders (The National Lottery Community Fund) require that the data is retained for longer for their monitoring purposes.
• For both successful and unsuccessful applicants to the Social Enterprise Support Fund, basic data about the application shall be retained for up to ten years from the closure of the Social Enterprise Support Fund for fraud-detection, auditing and monitoring purposes.

For the Social Enterprise Support Fund specifically, we will be required to share your data, including personal and sensitive information, with other members of the Social Enterprise Support Fund consortium and our funders The National Lottery Community Fund as and when required by our contracts with these organisations.

We will hold your personal information only within the European Union (including the UK) and the General Data Protection Regulation will govern how we use and store your personal information.

Keeping your personal information up to date and accurate. If you think any information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write or e-mail us. We will correct or update any information as soon as possible. If you are unsuccessful, you will need to contact us directly to update any personal data submitted that falls within the timescales for which we will retain this information.
