Cath and the other investment committee members analyse and assess the robustness of the social enterprise deals put forward for investment.
Cath worked in local government for twenty-seven years and in the registered social housing sector for eight years as Chief Executive for First Choice Homes Oldham. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
She worked for Liverpool City Council from 2002 to 2010 and held two positions: Assistant Executive Director and Executive Director for Community Services. Prior to this Cath worked for 19 years for two other Local Authorities, Salford and Rochdale, where she was Assistant Director of Strategy and Resources and Head of Regeneration respectively.
Cath set up her own consultancy business in December 2017 and is currently commissioned by the Greater Manchester Housing Providers and has recently been instrumental in the development of a Tripartite Agreement between Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership and Greater Manchester Housing Providers.
