Leila works in the Launceston office as Investment Manager for Resonance’s innovative Health & Wellbeing Challenge Fund (SouthWest), alongside the Investment Analyst for the Fund, Tom Crook. The Fund works with social enterprises based in the South West of England, which work in the health and social care sector.
Leila has had a portfolio career, ranging from running her own event management business to writing and analysing community share offers. She spent seven years in the renewable energy industry in roles working alongside individuals and community groups to bring their projects to fruition. She has most recently spent a year as Executive Director to the charity and social enterprise, Tir Coed, which delivers well-being outcomes and employment prospects to disadvantaged individuals through training in woodlands.
Leila and her family have returned to Cornwall after some years in Wales and she is looking forward to spending time with her family on the beach, including chasing around after her two sons. She has recently also set her sights on improving her own fitness and may be found triathlon training in the pools, lanes and hills around Launceston.
